New Decemberists

The Decemberists have been one of my favorite bands for as long as I can remember and I’m very happy to say that their new album, The Hazards of Love is due to hit stores on March 24th via Capitol. The album’s tracklisting preview’s the album’s play-like flow, similar to the Decemberists’ previous releases.

We won’t be listening to the new album for at least another 33 days, but we can take a listen to “The Rake Song” here.

I’m completely stoked for this new Decemberists album. If “The Rake Song” didn’t do it for you, take a listen again. If you’re still doubting the magic that is a full, brand new Decemberists LP, then take a listen to the new album’s title track “Hazards of Love.” This track is probably the best album opener since “In The Flowers” on MPP. Listen to it below
